Under Arizona law, an equine activity sponsor or professional shall not be liable for any injury to, or death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risk of equine sports. Code of Arizona 12-553. Ryan Goldsmith is not responsible for injuries to a horse, or rider during a training session under his supervision. Owners are not responsible for the safety of the trainer. A release of liability must be signed before any training is conducted. Children under the age of 18 must wear a helmet, and a parent/guardian must sign a ROL.
